Talent Pool Posting Search
Helpful Hint: When creating a search, it is helpful to first come up with a clear idea for your report. Think about which jobs you want to report on (the "Which Talent Pools"), what details you want to know about them (the "What"), and how you want to organize the information (the "How") - and be as specific as possible. The more specific you are with your idea, the easier it will be to break it down into these three sections, which will help you choose the right filters (for "Which talent pools"), columns (for "What"), and/or grouping and sorting (for "How") for your report. This three-section concept is used below to create a Talent Pool Posting search.
Scenario: You want to see what talent pools are currently posted to your career sites and have your results grouped by site for easy review. You will:
1. Break your report idea down into the three sections to help determine the best way to create your search:
- Which talent pools are you reporting about? Using filters, you can narrow down your results to talent pools that are posted to your career sites.
- What do you want to know about them? No specific columns are required for a successful search.
- How would you like this information organized? You can quickly view an overview of all the pools per portal by grouping by each individual site.
2. To create your search inside the iCIMS system, from the top menu bar, select
Search > Talent Pool Postings. "Which Jobs," the "What," and the "How" directly correlate with the three sections (A, B, and C, respectively) outlined in the below image.
A. Filters: Which talent pools are you reporting about?
To search for talent pools that are currently posted to a site, add a filter for Status.
1. Click Add Filter and add Status. The selection path is Posting Information > Status.
2. From the list to the right of the added filter, select Posted.
- Tip: Want to see the talent pools posted to a particular career site instead? Add a filter for Posted To and select the desired site from the list.
B. Columns: What do you want to know about these talent pools?
No particular columns are required for a successful search. Add any talent pool or posting information to your report as needed.
C. Group Results By and Sort Results By: How would you like this information organized?
1. Click Add Group-By and add Posted To. The selection path is Talent Pool Post Information > Posted To.
