Overview

iCIMS Candidate Experience Management (CXM) and iCIMS Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) are powerful tools that enable you to create and maintain a network of qualified candidates. Users can further streamline the process of adding candidates to CXM or CRM by using the Sourcing Extension feature within the iCIMS Browser Extension. This allows users to add candidates directly within their browser tab rather than having to go back and forth between a source and CXM or CRM.

For information on other methods of adding candidates to CXM or CRM, review the Adding Candidates in iCIMS Candidate Experience Management (CXM) and iCIMS Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) article.

For information on installing the iCIMS Browser Extension and its broader functionality, review the Using the iCIMS Browser Extension article.

Details on how to use the Sourcing Extension feature are outlined in the sections below.

Logging into the Sourcing Extension

The iCIMS Browser Extension is available for both Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. Once you have added the iCIMS Browser Extension, access the Sourcing Extension feature by completing the steps below.

  1. Select the extension from the menu bar of your browser and select the Sourcing Extension button. A login button displays.
  • Note: If you are already logged into CXM or CRM in your browser, the browser extension does not require you to log in again and instead displays the logged-in experience described in Step 3.
  1. Select the Login Via CRM App button. A new tab opens with the CXM and CRM login screen. Complete the login workflow in that tab.
  2. Once you have logged into CXM or CRM, return to the browser extension and select the Sourcing Extension button again. Buttons for available social media sites display.
  • Notes:
    • LinkedIn is currently the only social media site available for use with the Sourcing Extension. Additional site options are planned for future releases.
    • The Sourcing Extension feature works on standard, public LinkedIn profiles but is not available for the LinkedIn Recruiter experience.
