Overview

A number of iCIMS Talent Cloud products use noise words to improve keyword and quick search results. This article provides information that applies to the following products:

• iCIMS Applicant Tracking (ATS)
• iCIMS Offer Management
• iCIMS Onboarding
• iCIMS Connect (Legacy CRM)

A noise word is a word such as the or if that is so common that it is not useful in searches. To save time, noise words are not indexed and are ignored in index searches (i.e., keyword or quick searches) in this set of iCIMS solutions.

Note: To update your organization's list of noise words, submit a case to iCIMS Technical Support.
