Overview

Within iCIMS Applicant Tracking (ATS), the Job profile Source tab allows users to post approved jobs to various channels. These channels can include career sites, staffing agencies, job boards, and more. This article describes scheduling a job to post or posting a job to one or more Applicant Tracking career sites.

Note: Jobs that have been routed for approval but have not been approved cannot be posted. Depending on your organization's configurations, other posting restrictions may apply.

This article is composed of the following sections:

Posting a Job to Career Sites

  1. Navigate to the Job profile of the job you would like to post. From the Source tab on the Job profile, select the Post to Career Portals panel.
  2. On the Post To Your Portals page, locate the Career Portal dropdown. Use the field to search for the career site(s) to which the job should be posted and select the desired sites from the dropdown.
  • Tips:
    • This page supports posting a job to multiple career sites with one post.
    • In order to post, the career site name must be actively selected (i.e., the career site name must display in a box within the Career Portal field).
  1. Use the Start and/or End date and time selectors, if necessary, to control when the job should post and unpost from the career site.
  • Tips:
    • The Start selector defaults to the current date and time; the End selector defaults to blank (no end date).
    • Selecting a minute value in the last section of the selector is currently a requirement for changes to the start or end date and time to save.
    • Edits to the start or end date and time can also be made directly in the text of the Start or End field. This requires matching the expected date and time formatting (based on user preferences) precisely. If there are any inconsistencies in formatting, the value will be treated as invalid.
  1. Click Post to schedule or post the job.

Editing a Job Post on Career Sites

  1. From the Source tab on a Job profile, select the Post to Career Portals panel.
  2. On the Post To Your Portals page, locate the Postings section. Click the Edit (pencil) icon to the right of the career site with the job post that requires editing.
  3. If the job has not yet been posted, the start date and time can be updated. Review or update the start date and time, then click Next.
  4. Review or update the end date and time, then click Save.

Manually Unposting a Job from Career Sites

  1. From the Source tab on a Job profile, select the Post to Career Portals panel.
  2. On the Post To Your Portals page, locate the Postings section. Select the checkbox to the left of each career sitefrom which you would like to unpost the job.
  3. Click Cancel Post, then click Unpost.

Bulk Posting or Unposting Jobs to Career Sites

Note: Posting or unposting more than one job to career sites must be done from a Job search rather than from a Job profile.
  1. To access the Job search, select Search from the menu bar, then select Job.
  2. Enter criteria into the search form that will assist in locating the correct jobs within search results (e.g., Add Filter > Job Folder IS Approved, etc.)
  3. Select the checkbox to the left of all jobs that should be posted or unposted within search results.
  4. Click Posting Center
  5. Review current posting information for the jobs, which displays separately for each career site in the Posting Center popup. Click Post All or Unpost All for each relevant career site.
  6. Make any additional edits to the Start and/or End fields for each relevant site.
  7. Click Save.
