Overview
iCIMS offers the ability for clients to connect iCIMS Applicant Tracking (ATS) to job board posting providers for recruitment advertising distribution. Through these providers, organizations will have the ability to discover the right job boards and media options to effectively communicate with active and passive candidates.
The steps and features described throughout this guide are accessible only by users with a subscription to a job board posting provider integrated with iCIMS ATS.
Tip: Make sure that you are logged in to your job board posting account in order to transfer jobs from iCIMS Applicant System to your job board posting provider.
Warning: All job postings must be brought over from iCIMS ATS in order for your organization to receive tracking and sourcing information, where available. Jobs must be posted to one or more iCIMS ATS career sites prior to being sent to a job board posting provider. Transferring a Job Posting from iCIMS Applicant Tracking (ATS) to a Job Board Posting Tool
Warning: If your organization has approval processes configured, job postings must be approved in the iCIMS system before they can be transferred to a job board posting tool. Refer to the
Understanding and Initiating the Job Approval Process article for more information on the job approval process.
- Navigate to the desired Job profile, and select the Source tab. Then, select the Job Posting panel.
- Select the Posting Center button.
- Click the Post button beside the section of the Job Board Posting Center popup that reflects your vendor of choice, and select a career site from the Redirect to dropdown. (The career site that you select from the Redirect to dropdown is the career site that candidates will be directed to when they choose to apply to your job posting from a job board.)
- Click the Save button to finalize your post.
- The Web Post Summary pop up will display, confirming that the job has been posted. Select the relevant link to launch the posting process through the job board posting tool.
Tips:
- The job title and description transferred from iCIMS ATS may display in the job board posting tool. If this information is incorrect, please submit a case to the job board posting tool vendor's support.
- iCIMS Technical Support can enable a field (Company Name (Integration)) on a Location Profile (sometimes called a Company Profile) within iCIMS ATS that can alter the Company Name displayed within job board posting tools in reference to a particular job. Removing a Job Posting from a Job Board Posting Tool
- Navigate to the desired Job profile and select the Source tab. Then, select the Job Posting panel.
- Select the Posting Center button.
- Click the Unpost button beside the appropriate Job Board Posting vendor, and click Save.
Tip: Jobs must be unposted manually from job board posting vendors; they will not be automatically removed if the job is closed/filled within iCIMS ATS.
