Changing or Resetting Your Text Engagement Password

Overview

iCIMS Text Engagement passwords always expire after 90 days, and users will be automatically prompted to update their expired passwords upon their first successful login to the system after the expiration date. In addition to this, users can follow a simple process within the system to change their own password at any time.

Users can also securely reset their password outside of the system at any time. A user can initiate the automated password reset process from the Text Engagement Login page by clicking the Forgot Password? link.
 

Changing Your Password within Text Engagement

  1. While logged into Text Engagement, click the user dropdown (your name) in the top right corner of the page. Then, select Profile Settings.
  2. Navigate to the Change Password section, located at the bottom of the Profile Settings menu. Enter the Current Password, New Password, and New Password (Repeat) fields.
  3. Once all fields are completed, click Update Password. A Password successfully changed! message displays upon a successful password update.

Resetting Your Password from the Login Page

  1. Navigate to the Text Engagement Login page and click the Forgot Password? link within the Login box. The Forgot Password? screen then displays.
  2. Enter your email address in the Email field. Then, click Reset Password.
    • Note: The provided email address must match the one associated with your Text Engagement account.
An Email sent message then displays, and an email containing a reset link is automatically sent to you.
  1. In the reset email, click the Reset My Password link to launch the secure Reset Password page. 
  2. Complete the New Password and Confirm Password fields on the Reset Password page. Click Save Password. You are logged into Text Engagement upon a successful password update.
Note:
  • Check your email’s spam and junk folders if you do not receive the password reset email in your inbox.
  • If you have provided an email address that does not match an existing Text Engagement account, you will not receive an email. Check your email address and navigate back to the login page to try resetting your password again with the email associated with your Text Engagement account.
  • The emailed password reset link expires after 8 hours.
