Overview
Social Distribution, a feature of iCIMS Applicant Tracking (ATS), is an all-in-one tool that powers social recruiting across networks at all levels, from corporate to individual, and leverages multiple social recruiting approaches.
Via Social Distribution, iCIMS ATS users are able to manually post individual jobs to social networks directly from their profiles within ATS. Note that in order to publish a job to social networks, the job must first be posted to at least one ATS career site.
Manually Publishing an Individual Job within iCIMS Applicant Tracking (ATS)
- Log in to iCIMS ATS and navigate to the profile for a job that you would like to publish to your social networks.
- On the Job profile, click the Source tab, then select the Social Distribution panel.
- Note: If you do not have access to the Social Networks panel, your company may not have Social Distribution enabled. Submit a case to your user admin or your iCIMS Account Manager for more information.
- Click the desired social media icon to post the job to that social media network. If prompted, log in to the selected social network.
- Note: If the job is currently posted to multiple ATS career sites, a dropdown displays to the left of the social media icons. To determine which career site the social network post will route candidates to, select the appropriate career site from the dropdown.
- Configure the desired posting options and/or message within the popup; available options may vary based on the social network selected. Click the Share button or equivalent posting option to share the job via this account. When the job has been successfully posted, the user will be directed to a confirmation page.
Tips:
- If you are an admin of a company Facebook page, you can manually share a job to that page using the above steps. Select the Facebook icon and log in to your personal Facebook account if prompted; then, on the Share on Facebook pop up, change the top dropdown from 'Share on your own Timeline' to "Share on a Page you manage' and select the company Facebook page.
- The Social Distribution Stats section of the panel provides users with at-a-glance metrics on a per-job basis, including publishes and views.
